it was for 18th Singapore Intl Arts Festival.

Flavia is a thirty-year old teacher, married with a son who suddenly confronts her past desires and history when she falls in love with a woman she casually meets at a supermarket. Instead of restraining herself, Flavia surrenders to this unanticipated connection and in it, finds a release for her sexual identity. It also allows her to recollect her days as a student in the 1980s, a period of tense political riots, when she experienced her first such encounter. Yan Yan Mak’s (Brother, SIFF 2002) Butterfly is also a tale about another love relationship between two women in contemporary Hong Kong who struggle against social prejudice to come out and embrace their identities in public space. Starring Josie Ho and Isabel Chan.

when i arrived at the cinema @ shaw hse.
i was nearly freaked out.
it was like a les gathering.
lolx.
as it was actually a les show,
most of the community came to support d show.
the first time tt singapore allows such shows.
by chance, we bumped into jeannette,
who coincidentally was watchin this movie too, alone.
well, les world is small, i must admit.
the movie portrays d emotional turmoils,
and searchin for true self.
well, we went to C.A.N cafe after d movie for a chill out session.
afterwhich, nikki sent me hm to drive my car.
we went to elias mall for dinner,
winnie and peiling joined us shortly after.
after tt, we proceeded to fisherman v for another chill out session.
jaq and liping joined us shortly too.
a walk ard the beach brgs back fond memories.
so many things we reflected.
we realised tt in a les life,
all we are looking for is a life partner,
one whom u can spend the rest of ur life with.
but to find someone,
how difficult or eZ can tt be?
i seeked no answer.
we left for changi v.
to visit some 'bapoks'
and had some prata - which suxs.
finally, we left @ 0400hrs.
got hm @0500hrs.
