[[xmas with 7frens & more.. - 23.12.06]]
the day started early..
woke up at around 0900hrs to do some market-ing for steamboat later in the day..
eve-line was late.. very late indeed..
market-ing was subsequently done by my mom on behalf.. =)
waited till tt eve-line arrived and proceeded to my house to prepare all the ingredients..
failure of the day: we were in need of a sharp knife.. -luffs-
made nikki and co waited for ages while i bathe.. keke..
finally, arrival at nikki's house where everything was taken over by her domestic worker "tsunami" - she is called sufami (to tt extent)..
some slip ups..
-me being the lazy one, decided to take a shortcut in bringing the soup to the steamboat thingy, and resulted in the helpful joanne in overturning the pot of soup.. (sorry babe!! unintentional)
-oh yah, the above resulted in a power trip in nikki's house..
-forgotten to buy hotdogs.. (poor nikki has to drive out to supermarket and get it)
-the spoilt wine-opener (u shld have guessed it..) -luffs-
it was a day when almost all the girls in poly class met up xcept for cat, meilin, tety, (weiwei and yunjiao not inclusive).. it makes me feel as though we are back to poly daze except our thinking now are different, we might arrive at a stage where we know the difference between staying and leaving, be it a relationship or a career advancement.. somehow, i still feel that we are still the same people with additional burdens..
somehow or rather, the world will not be less simple.. complicated? its how one thinks or perceives..
sipping some red wine,
reminicing about the past..
holding on to the present..
plans for future..
broken/unstable relationships, bad/good career choices we have it all,
7frens will still be together..
braving it all.. (i hope..)
and i hope..
2007 xmas will be a better one..
after all, its OUR YEAR!!
