[[when ppl have choices = dilemma - 18.04.07]]
yeah.. as the title suggests..
im in a real dilemma..
first, i applied for internal transfer to another customer service dept - CRC (customer retention)..
today was my interview and it went real well..
secondly, on tuesday (17.04.07),
i received an email from 1 of my HR to asked if im still interested in a position that i applied ages back.. yes!! i applied it back in september or so.. and i went through 2 rounds of interview - first with the manager and subsequently the caucasian director from australia.. - it was not successful coz apparently the then HR personnel told me that they found someone more suitable.. oh well..

-market research executive
i cant make up my mind..
let me tell u the reasons..
first.. being in my own comfort zone - i am quite reluctant to walk out of it and try something new and mudane..
secondly.. i have not worked with market research b4..
so what is expected over there??
i certainly have no idea..
and to think that they are seeking my interest just 6months from my last interview..
does it mean that the successful candidate cannot commit or is the job not suitable for him/her?
what prospects do i have if i take up the job?
if i take up the crc job - its the same job as im working for now..
makes no difference - but i dun need to work shifts anymore..
but dealing with customers..
i thought i had a resolution that i no longer wants to work with customers?
neither the customer service line?
the issues im facing..
paywise - i dun see any huge increment.. even if i get the executive position..
the plus points will be the title that i get..
job scope - from my current understanding - i need to do alot of excel compiling..
in crc - i have colleagues whom im familiar with..
and i know what to expect..
paywise - its basic + cust service allowance + incentive
but bottomline is.. its still a customer service job..
should i choose a title??
or.. should i choose my confort zone?
