[[an annual affair - 01.03.08]]
an annual affair..
as u might have guessed..
a fully sponsored trip to hk + expenses all paid..
-luffs-
anyway, we decided to give the summer sale a miss as we head for the end winter, spring season..
the weather was cooling, no bits of perspiration this time round..
the fact that there are only 2 of us on this trip makes things alot easier..
- OTOT (own time own target)!!
Day 1
anyway, first day was spent meeting up with nikki&co..
however, i managed to at least eat the 'smelly toufu'..
i managed to go back to the stall that was introduced by xtine's aunt a few years back..
tried to search for some gay clubs in LKF..
but apparently, to no avail..
- works bar - however it was quite creepy as we couldnt find entrance into the club..
- club 97 - only gay nites on friday..
- we couldnt locate community and most importantly propaganda..
it was good walking for about an hour - but we still didn't manage to find the club..
Day 2
Like Singapore, Sunday is family day for everyone as you will notice queues at the more famous restaurants during breakfast/lunch/dinner..
- had some horrible porridge for breakfast..
- but at least, we managed to eat some all time favourites like braised pigeon and some special sauce octopus..
- it was a shopping day for us.. and our buys were mainly on this day..
~ 1 bag each from bauhaus (total - est hkd 2900)
~ 1 rayban sunglasses each (total - est hkd 1700)
Day 3
it was off for sight-seeing..
this was by request of ms ho..
so off to Lantau Island we go.. for the cable car ride and big buddha..
lunch was at po lin monastry
dinner was steamboat at tst Yau Guek Hei
Day 4
as we only have up to 4pm to shop around b4 the transport picks us up..
we checked out at 9am plus..
went to have breakfast and head off to wong tai sin..
- kwun tong for some egg tarts..
- tst for foot/shoulder and neck massage (hkd 700)
